Course Outline
This course provides an overview of the legal frameworks and considerations that impact engineering practice, including professional licensure, intellectual property rights, contracts, regulatory compliance, ethical responsibilities, and strategies for managing risk and liability. Students will gain an understanding of how these legal dimensions shape decision-making, influence the design and delivery of engineering projects, and uphold public welfare and professional integrity.
