Course Outline
Parking lots are required for shopping centers, office buildings, and residential complexes. The objective of parking lot design is to provide safe, efficient vehicular access to parking stalls. For businesses and commuter lots, the design should also consider trucks and heavy vehicles. In addition, the design should also consider water drainage to ensure the parking lot remains durable over time. This short course will discuss these essential design aspects.
At the end of this course, there will be a multiple-choice, open-book quiz designed to enhance your understanding of the course material.
