Course Outline
Also called unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), drones are amazing gadgets. They can provide construction teams with an overhead view of job sites, materials, machinery, structures, and people. Their usefulness can be enhanced with thermal cameras and other add-ons like mapping tools and GPS units. In this course, you will learn the brief history of drones, the regulations regarding their use, various types of drones, and their potential applications in many aspects of engineering and surveying. In addition, you will learn about the current drone technologies that make drones safer and more dependable.
