Safety and Health Requirements – Part 2

Course Outline

Safety and health are critical considerations in all human activities. This course provides information and guidance on the safety and health requirements related to the construction industry. The course materials are based entirely on the US Army Corps of Engineers' Safety and Health Requirements Manual (Part 2 of this course series covers Sections 9 to 15 and Appendix E only). The provisions of this manual implement safety and health standards and requirements contained in OSHA 29 CFR 1910, 29 CFR 1926, 29 CFR 1960, 30 CFR 56, Executive Order 12196, FAR Clause 52.236-13, DODI 6055.1, AR 40-5 and AR 385-10. This manual is an excellent reference book for anyone in the construction industry, including designers, contractors, and construction managers.

At the end of this course, there will be a multiple-choice, open-book quiz designed to enhance your understanding of the course material.
