Course Outline

This course is designed to provide a solid foundation in the principles and practices of land surveying. The course encompasses the measurement of horizontal distances (taping), the measurement of vertical distances (leveling), slope staking, grade checking for embankment and pipe, area and volume calculations, and modern survey techniques. In addition, it discusses potential errors that can occur in surveying measurements and how to avoid them. Upon completion of this course, you will have a thorough understanding of the basic principles and techniques of land surveying, enabling you to effectively participate in project planning, execution, and management.
