Course Outline
An easement is a vested or acquired right to use the land for a specific purpose. It is an interest in land owned by another that entitles the easement holder to a specific limited use. Examples of common assessments include easements for rights-of-way; a right to drink water, stormwater, or sewage; and utility easements for telephone, gas, or electricity supply. In this course, you will learn the nature and terms and conditions of easements, including examples of various types of easements.
At the end of this course, there will be a multiple-choice, open-book quiz designed to enhance your understanding of the course material.
