Course Outline
This course takes participants on a detailed tour of Tesla’s groundbreaking Megafactory, where innovation, sustainability, and automation converge to shape the future of transportation. Based on the acclaimed National Geographic documentary Megafactory - Tesla, the course explores how Elon Musk’s vision, advanced robotics, and clean-energy engineering revolutionized car manufacturing. Learners will gain insight into design strategy, battery technology, production systems, and Tesla’s master plan to make electric vehicles accessible to the world.
At the end of this course, there will be a multiple-choice, open-book quiz, which is designed to enhance your understanding of the course material.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this course, the student will:
- Be able to explain Tesla’s vertically integrated, automated EV manufacturing flow from gigacasting to final assembly;
- Be able to identify the roles of body-in-white, structural battery packs, and drive-unit integration in vehicle performance;
