Course Outline

When registered engineers renewing their license in Florida, the engineers are required to complete a one-hour course related to Chapters 471 and Chapter 455 and rules of the Board of Professional Engineers. This course fulfills the mandatory one-hour requirement on Florida laws and rules for professional engineers as part of the 2025–2027 biennium continuing education cycle.

* Note: This course cannot be used to satisfy other states’ PDH requirement in their Board Laws & Rules.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this course, the student will:

• get to know the laws and rules that regulates the practice of engineering; and
• know the major changes made in these laws and rules during the immediate-preceding biennium (January, 2023 – January, 2025).
