Course Outline
Sexual harassment in the workplace is an ongoing risk to the safety of your employees and your business. This course defines the term “sexual harassment” and explains the different forms it can take. Besides how to respond to and report sexual harassment, this course discusses whistleblower protections and employer responsibilities in the prevention, investigation, and corrective measures of sexual harassment. This course is designed to help you meet the minimum sexual harassment prevention training requirement in the state of Illinois.
At the end of this course, there will be a multiple-choice, open-book quiz designed to enhance your understanding of the course material.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this course, the student will:
- Define sexual harassment, including its forms and types;
- Know how to respond if you experience or witness unwelcome sexual harassment;
- Report sexual harassment within your place of employment and to outside entities; and
- Understand whistleblower protections.
